Deleted comment still visible in the search engine

Many times we have encountered a situation when a user asks us to remove a comment. At the user's request, we remove the comment, and it immediately disappears from our service. After a few days, the user contacts us again and informs us that the comment is still visible in the search engine (Google, Bing, Yahoo or other). Therefore, he complains that the comment has not disappeared from the search engines and demands that we remove it from the search engine.

Search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing and others) are independent of us and are tasked with looking at websites and indexing the content they contain and then presenting it in the search results to those search engines' users. They do not do this 'live', of course. When any change is made to any web page, the change does not immediately appear in the search results. Why? Search engines index given pages and sub-pages from time to time. Their automatons enter the page from time to time, check what content is there and leave. These are so-called indexing robots. After some time they will join the page again, check it, see what has changed and updated their indexes. Therefore, if the content of our service changes (e.g. we remove a given comment), the change will not appear in the search engine immediately. Such a change will be taken into account only after the next visit of an indexing robot. This situation is entirely independent of us.

How to speed up such a change? Indexing robots navigate the Internet via links. One page refers them to another, another to a third, and on each of these pages, they follow internal links. To speed up indexation, its best to place a link on the Internet to the page you want to reindex. And this is what you can do.
